I figure that Notes links would be used ~Vanessa Bubjumikonyoden 15.Feb.03 02:45 PM a Web browser Sametime Developers Toolkit 2.5Windows NT/2000
I figure that Scott was talking about Notes links. These links use the notes:// protocol. In order to use these links, the recipient's registry must be modified to recognize "notes://" as a Notes link and have the Notes client handle it. The registry is automatically modified when you install Notes 5.0.9. For information on how to modify the registry manually, see the article titled "Launch Notes Applications from a web browser" by Christopher Pepin in the November 2000 Lotus Notes & Domino Advisor. I know that Sametime recognizes urls prefaced with "http" and "mailto", but I'm not sure about "notes".
